Lewis and Clark Logo
this project was a contest on who could make the best logo to be the new Lewis and Clark wildlife club logo. this logo is the one that won the contest and I'm pretty darn proud of it. I know it doesn't sound very exciting but to a young designer getting their name out to the public to make themselves known is what counts the most. the A is missing in the word Bismarck down below but I will soon put up the revised version of it.

Psychedelic Nook

this is an advertising project that I did in class, we were suppose to use the history of typography to advertise a modern product. in my case I chose to take a font that looked more like it belonged in the late 60s, the psychedelic age. unfortunately it didn't work out too well for me and I have to say it's not my best work and I didn't get the best grade for it either, but I decided to put it on my blog anyway. just because.

skillet cd cover
this is indeed my masterpiece so far in my career of graphic design. the project was to create a cd cover of our favorite band, mine being skillet, that includes the cover card (top) the cd cover (middle) and the tray card (bottom). one of the biggest reasons I like this is because that I actually put myself in the cover and drew a wing to go on each side of me. the background image I didn't take a picture of, I just got it off of thinkstockphotos.com.
PS2 controller
this is my PS2 controller that I made, there's not really too much to say about it except that it was a project on how to use the gradient tool. I'm pretty proud that I made it though because I basically did this whole thing at last minute, and I don't think I'd ever do it at last minute ever again haha!

boost your brainstorming activity
this is my first real illustration with using the pen tool, and it turned out better than I had expected last semester. the name of the article was "boost yer brainstorming with 5 easy steps" and we were basically just suppose to come up with our own illustrations so I came up with this nice little illustration of a doctor shocking a kid's brain back to life.
